Our rooms were ready early on Friday and our guests were very happy that they were able to check-in before our rehearsal that afternoon. All of the staff- from the front desk, to the bellboys, to the people working at the Market were so nice! Everyone made sure to ask me if there was anything I needed or if there was any way that they could help reduce the stress.
We had the pleasure of working with Ben Ellison to set-up our room block for our wedding. He responded to my e-mails so quickly and was super helpful throughout the entire process (thank you Ben!)
Thank you to everyone at The Inn who played a part in our special day! I could not have asked for a better hotel experience. We will definitely be coming to stay for anniversaries to come!

We stayed the night there and toured the facilities and really enjoyed our visit. The rooms were very nice, you could tell it's fancy because the labels on the soaps in the bathroom were in French and they had robes you could use. They also had complimentary fruit infused water in the lobby, another signal of a fancy establishment. The staff were all really nice and personable, except I thought the cleaning guy gave me a dirty look before smiling and nodding at me. Overall a great stay.
Beautiful space! Comfortable beds, and rooms in general, and gorgeous land surrounding it. The restaurant and Market housed in the inn are cozy as well.
We thought the food, the service, and the setting were excellent. The grits in the Shrimp and Grits were as smooth as the best we have tasted in North Carolina, and the dish was excellent, if a little spicy hot. The duck and gnocchi was very tasty, just a little too salty. The Apple pie and vanilla ice cream were excellent.
Our suites (Kent Island and Bay Bridge) were an absolutely perfect set-up for the girls/guys to get ready in the morning. They were large, clean, and had plenty of storage space! Our breakfast that we ordered from The Market arrived 10 minutes early and was so yummy! Our brunch on Sunday after the wedding in the Toolshed Bar was the perfect ending to a perfect weekend. Guests loved the omelette station- it was a great way to get to see all of our out-of-town guests before they headed home.
