This is one of the best event venues I have ever been too! I have been to two weddings here, and both were spectacular. The food was great, the facility was beautiful, and the bar even stocks hard to find craft beer and wine! Would love to come back for another event.
I have planned multiple events at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and the Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. You could not ask for a better experience. Ellen is absolutely amazing to work with and makes everything so easy. The atmosphere the food the grounds and the rooms everything is top notch here. You will not be disappointed.
The service was utterly abysmal. Except the bartenders, they were great. If you're hosting a wedding here, you're paying for the location only, it would seem. The food was decent, but portions were small. The director seemed to find it easier to scold guests to move things along than to actually orchestrate staff to lead people throughout the evening. I don't know how she keeps her job, but it speaks volumes about the establishment. They were excessively quick to see us out before 11. Someday when I have a wedding, I hope we find ourselves in better hands. Buyer beware.
I stayed here for a company retreat. The hotel is beautiful, and they have a second venue a half mile away with waterfront views. The catered food was delicious and the views were gorgeous. Highly recommend for weddings or other events.
