Nice hidden spot off the main road. Short walk by the Mansion on the right from a free parking lot. Lots of pebbles at the water's edge. Be careful of Jellyfish further out and near the rocks.
Nice, relatively small sized beach facing west into the Chesapeake (therefore a wonderful place for sunset pictures)! The beach is split into a people-only beach and also a dog beach. Tends to get VERY crowded on weekends and summer holidays as outsiders from DC/Virginia/western MD come. Parking lot is relatively small and can fill up easily, but there are more spots to park on the road leading up to the lot. This past summer (2016) did have issues with a lot of seaweed washing up during the second half of the summer, but that does not seem to be the norm.
Another Kent island hidden gem that is a great place for families young and old to go and enjoy the outdoors. There picnic tables with some located on the beach and others up towards the clubhouse. The picnic tables are wheelchair friendly.
Peaceful beach and dog beach. Sharp pebbles eventually became softer ocean floor
It was small, not what I was looking for but definitely a good place to go if your a family with toddlers
